Safeguarding

Devon Music Tutor is committed to the safeguarding of the students who access the service.

I have an up to date DBS for which the certificate can be seen upon request.

Regular safeguarding training is undertaken and Keeping Children Safe in Education is read annually to check for updates.

If Devon Music Tutor has a concern about a students safety or wellbeing it will be reported to the local authority designated safeguarding officer (LADO).

Online sessions will be recorded for the safeguarding of staff and students. They will be stored on the Devon Music Tutor Google Drive securely.

Devon Music Tutor will only keep the contact information of clients in relation to invoicing and contacting regarding sessions, resources and timing. Students' assessment data will only be kept and/or used to assess progress and predict outcomes.
